Beauty in a Jar

I just had a facial cleaning because small pimples are progressing on my face and a few bigger ones too. The lady told me that some of my pimples had been treated but still stand out (it hasn't flattened yet) so she has to make three injections on my face.

YES! THREE INJECTIONS!

This is the first time I’m having my face injected so she says I should try it first and if it doesn’t feel good, I’ll go through an alternative instead.

I feel numb and uneasy. I know that there’s an injection on my face and it feels like I wanna pull it out. So I told her that I didn’t want to get an injection.

Her advice was..

I rub my face with a hot compress at home.

How to make a hot compress?

Boil water.
Fill at least ½ of the glass jar with the boiled water.
From hot, let the boiled water become a little warm.
Close the jar and massage your face with the hot compress. (focus on the pmples)
It really works! :D
It’s way better than steaming your face at home, way easier too. Thumbs up for that :D

PS! I always have facial cleaning only at NQM Skin Cleaning. I know their services are way too pricey but you get a benefit of a lifetime.

After four years

I purchased face masks from Ibeauty Shop
It came in large-sized sachets. I leave it on my face overnight and find my skin feeling so nourished in the morning. My pimples lessened and I felt happy. Really happy.

So this is my routine for both whitening and blemish free skin:
1. Before I take a bath in the morning, I make sure I rub lemons (calamansi) on my body.
2. I use erase xfoliant as facial soap since it's the only products that really really got rid of the acne on my face.
3. I soap my body with erase Orange Peel Body and Facial Bar (Diamond Micropeeling). After 3 days of using this, WOW. My skin got smoother and softer.

4. After taking a bath, I apply erase pimple lotion on my face.

5. Next is erase Deep Cleansing.

6. Followed by erase anti-acne/depigmenting solution.

7.Lastly is the erase Sunblock cream with moisturizer SPF 40.

8. I use kojie san as body lotion.

I'm gonna continue this routine and give you updates soon.

I'm gonna make a review about whitening capsules/tablets soon.

The Beauty Bar that took me Four Years to Find

11 and Hiding

When I was in 5th grade, pimples showed up on my forehead. Since I had bangs, I always covered my forehead. But my mom scolded me for doing so and told me to refrain from touching my forehead because it’ll only contribute to irritation. And the elderly would say “Don’t do anything, it’ll disappear by itself.” So I did nothing. 2 years have passed and there was no improvement.

KSA Soap of Gladys Reyes

One Sunday, my mom and I went to SM to unwind when a pink stall caught her attention. KSA Soap of Gladys Reyes. The saleslady said it can cure pimples and whiten the skin. After the first wash, the second, the third and the last- nothing happened. No lighter skin, no blemish free skin.

Local Obagi

I'm a really active surfer. On facebook I liked a page which was CARE SKIN PRO. It sold countless skin products. I immediately contacted the seller and told her of my situation. She suggested LOCAL OBAGI SET which I purchased.

Well, there was noticeable peeling but still, there were no signs of improvement :(

I tried using foot scrub as a facial scrub.
I applied toothpaste on my acne overnight.
I went to NQM Skin Clinic and was given creams, soaps and liquids for application.
I went to oroderm.
I tried salt scrub and sugar scrub.
I tried steaming.
I applied cornstarch.
I used kojie san soap.
I drank met.

Of all the things I did, nothing happened.

As I was Again surfing the net...

I happen to visit IBeauty Shop from facebook and purchased the..
(to be continued)

Beauty?

Beauty?

being maputi.
being makinis.
no eyebags.
hairless underarms.
volumized hair.

Yes of course! Everyone wants to be beautiful. And by "everyone" I mean all of us, yes.. even me.
I started having skin asthma when I was 10. Unfortunately it first showed up on my face. I had white irregular shapes on my face. It really surprised both my mom and I so I was brought to a pediatrician just around town. The doctor prescribed a certain ointment which I have forgotten the brand name. Well, it didn't work. We have a family doctor an hour away who treated my grandfather to my youngest cousin. So I was brought there and was recommended to apply canesten on the affected areas. CHEERS! It worked. BUT after two weeks it came back :( Good thing my mom's friend suggested for me to meet up with Dra. Nenita Q. Manzano of NQM Skin Clinic. When she saw me she came closer and said I have skin asthma. She also said "Galing ka sa pamilya ng may mga asthma sa lahi noh?" I was startled. It was the first time we met but she can tell that I came from a family who had asthma. Both my paternal grandparents had bronchial asthma. My dad, all his siblings and my bother had bronchial asthma. Dra. Manzano amazed me. She said Diamond peel can blow my problems away but I was too young to have a Diamond peel so I was given Oatmeal Bath Oil, Oatmeal Lotion and Hydrocort Cream. And I'm giving her a two thumbs up because it really worked :D
The story of my skin catastrophe have just started :) I'll give an update soon. Chow ;)
